The late Mam Mary Twala will feature in Beyoncé's star-studded film titled Black Is King and Somizi recently took to social media to express just how proud he is of his late mother for her feature.

Mary was an influential actress whose memory will never be forgotten and will now live on in this film too. The late Mam Mary Twala will feature in Beyoncé's star-studded film titled Black Is King, just another way her influential memory is being honoured far and wide. Somizi Mhlongo’s mother Mary died at Netcare Park Lane hospital in Johannesburg just a few weeks ago and he and his family are still trying to process her passing.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Beyoncé fans in South Africa have a reason to celebrate. The starlet's Black Is King film will be broadcast on M-Net for Mzansi's viewing pleasure. The film will see several local artists star alongside the multi-award winning singer, Beyoncé Knowles. Some of the big local names include actress Connie Chiume, singer and actress Nandi Madida and actor Warren Masemola.
