Greyhound and Citiliner closing operations after 37 years

Greyhound announced on their Twitter page that they and Citiliner are closing operations and services will run until 14 February 2021. Passengers with tickets booked for services after this date will be refunded according to the company.

Since 1984 they’ve brought South Africa’s favourite luxury coach solution which connected cities as old the country itself and towns as brilliantly curious as the cultures that connect us. They had a comprehensive network from Johannesburg to Cape Town, from Durban to Pretoria, and also from the Cape to Harare, from the Natal to Maputo, from the hills of the Transkei to the golden fields of the Free State (via most villages, dorpies and towns).
