Donald Glover, the multifaceted talent celebrated for his work as both an actor and a musician, has announced his final two albums as Childish Gambino. The news comes in the wake of his unexpected performance during Tyler, the Creator's set at the renowned Coachella festival.

Variety reports that Glover, who has previously earned multiple Grammy awards for his musical endeavors, disclosed the details of his forthcoming projects via his Instagram initiative, Gilga. He revealed that the first of the two albums will be a revised edition of his 3.15.20 release, originally intended to be titled "Atavista." This album, now set for a vinyl release, represents a completed version of his earlier work.

During his announcement, Glover reminisced about the circumstances surrounding the initial release of "3.15.20," explaining how it was rushed out amidst personal challenges and the uncertainty of the pandemic. Despite the hasty debut, Glover affirms that "Atavista" will receive the treatment it deserves, with proper mastering and mixing.

However, it's the second album that has sparked particular intrigue among fans. Glover confirmed that it will serve as the final chapter in the Childish Gambino discography. Titled as the soundtrack for his upcoming film "Bando Storm and the New World," this project promises to be a fitting conclusion to his musical journey under the moniker.

In discussing the inspiration behind the "Bando Storm and the New World" soundtrack, Glover cited the iconic work of Prince for the Batman franchise, drawing parallels to Prince's contributions to the soundtracks of both the 1989 and 1995 Batman films.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Glover has continued to diversify his creative portfolio. He recently co-created and starred in "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" alongside Maya Erskine, a series available on Amazon Prime.
