Earlier this week, Anthony Anderson concluded his divorce proceedings with Alvina Anderson, his former wife of 22 years. The "black-ish" actor has been instructed by the court to provide $200,000 annually in spousal support.

As outlined in court records obtained by PEOPLE, if Anthony's yearly earnings exceed $2 million, he will owe an additional 20 percent, elevating the yearly support to $400,000. The court has ruled that Anthony will retain their property located in Encino, CA, as well as a 2004 Land Rover. On the other hand, Alvina will keep their residence in Houston and a 2022 Mazda.

In addition to this, they are required to sell a cemetery plot at L.A.'s Inglewood Park Cemetery and divide the proceeds.

The divorce saga began in 2015 when Alvina initially filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and citing April 1, 2014, as their separation date. Spousal support was requested during this filing. However, in January 2017, she withdrew the divorce petition.

Five years later, in March 2022, Alvina filed for divorce again, indicating the separation date as "TBD" and seeking spousal support from Anthony, as well as coverage of her legal fees. Shortly after, Anthony countered with a dissolution of marriage request, specifying February 25 as their separation date due to irreconcilable differences, as reported by the outlet.

The couple, now divorced, had tied the knot in September 1999 and are parents to two adult children: 26-year-old daughter Kyra and 22-year-old son Nathan.
