Snoop Dogg is set to deliver a chilling performance in his next project. Over the weekend, the head of Death Row Records used Instagram to unveil his upcoming venture, "The Big Payback," in which he assumes the role of a merciless assassin.

In a teaser video, the seasoned industry figure declares, "In a world inhabited by deities and creatures of darkness, the sole method to eradicate wickedness is by striking at its core." The clip then transitions to an image of his character, patiently awaiting in a dimly lit room, savoring a bowl of Snoop's Hoopz in a crafty manner.

There isn't much information available about the film directed by Dah Dah, including whether it was finished before the writer's strike or its release date. However, the rapper did mention that fans can anticipate the project to drop "soon."

The West Coast icon's most recent on-screen appearance was in the Netflix film "Day Shift," alongside a cast that featured Dave Franco, Meagan Good, Karla Souza, and Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx. In the 2022 supernatural movie, Snoop took on the role of "Big" John Elliott, an old friend of Jamie Foxx's character, Bud, and a seasoned vampire hunter.
