Makhadzi: ‘l was a slave to Open Mic for three years’

The Limpopo-based musician Makhadzi continues to cry saying that Open Mic Productions slaved her.

Indeed, it seemed that Makhadzi had spoiled enough beans when she said they did not give her money from album sales. Unfortunately, she has so much pain in her heart and has more words to share with fans. Makhadzi respected the contractual obligation to work with Open Mic for the past three years but was unhappy. She said the company did not even give her the contract, and they have taken her as an enslaved person.

If anyone could imagine what makes top celebs get into depression, this is the perfect result. It was difficult for Makhadzi over the past three years, and we thank God she managed to come out of it. When sharing her story on Twitter, Makhadzi poured out things buried in her heart for too long. This was a relieving moment in her heart, and fans could understand her. Makhadzi showed how Open Mic slaved when they renewed the contract without her consent. This is undoubtedly unheard of that only one part can decide to extent a contract without the consent of another. Thank God, Makhadzi was now clever enough to understand the consequences of accepting such a contract renewal.

She also said that after demanding her contract copy, Open Mic only assigned Nkateko Maluleke, their Managing Director, to speak to her. Unfortunately, Maluleke threatened her to stop demanding the contract, which started slavery. Adding on, Open Mic Productions also removed Makhadzis song, which was already at 130k views, breaking her heart. Thank God the world knows how Open Mic Productions slaved Makhadzi for three years.
