The digital curator is encouraging Black women to reach beyond “Instagramable moments" when they travel.

Digital creative and travel influencer, Khloe Summer, is launching an exciting new brand, Curated By Khloe, that is intended to help Black women explore luxury travel opportunities and move beyond "instagrammable moments." According to Travel Noire the first event, a Girls Retreat in St. Lucia from July 27th to 31st sold out in 36 hours. It is the first of many retreats and travel experiences curated by the luxury travel enthusiast.

The event, sponsored by Belaire Rose, includes four days of sisterhood-building exercises, fellowship, and luxury fun. Summer hopes her curated experiences will have a positive impact on women as they find their place in the world. The Baltimore native turned Miami resident has traveled to 44 countries and 25 states within the US. She notes that historic segregation has been a barrier to Black travel, particularly for Black women, accordingly, she hopes to motivate a new generation. Its super important for Black women to feel like they have access to Black luxury because, for a long time, [we were told] we couldnt have it, said Refinery29s Unbothered brand partnerships lead, Sandy Pierre. We hold space, we take up space, and we make luxury [whatever] we want it to [be].
