Tristan Eaton, a popular muralist in Austin, took to Instagram on Monday (March 6) to reveal he’s printing a tribute of the late hip-hop legend after his death on February 12.

“I don’t normally post my sketch / mock ups but this is a special occasion,” he wrote in the post’s caption. “This week I’m painting a tribute to the late, great #Trugoy of @wearedelasoul in #AUSTIN at the @museumofgraffiti – please come by and BRING DAISIES to frame the mural!!! Dave / Trugoy is so beloved in Hip Hop, please come see it and show him some love starting this weekend. Details to follow…” The finished mural is scheduled to be unveiled on Saturday (March 11), where Maseo will deliver a DJ set. It also coincides with the Museum of Graffiti’s inaugural “Art of Hip-Hop” pop-up exhibition, which runs from March 10 to 28, according to HipHopDX.
