Gabrielle Union-Wade celebrated her 50th birthday with a #WadeWorldTour to remember! Last week, the actress took to Instagram to count her blessings and share with fans her intention to mark her big milestone abroad. At the time of the post, the star clearly had no idea that her birthday trip would include a fun-filled dance party in Zanzibar with her close friends and family members! “I’m still processing the level of effort and planning that went into pulling off such an unbelievable 50th birthday party in Zanzibar Tanzania and keep the details a surprise from my nosy self,” Union-Wade captioned an Instagram post that showed the highlights from her recent surprise party off the coast of Tanzania. “I’m beyond grateful for all of my loved ones who flew around the world to celebrate with me.”

The birthday girl went on to express how impressed she was that her husband Dwyane Wade was able to secure a live performance by musician Lisa Lisa for her special day. “Thank you Lisa for being so amazing to my Mom reminding me that your childhood heroes can turn out to be as lovely as you imagined them,” she shared. “I’m just floating on gratitude and to know this is just our 1st stop on the #WadeWorldTour2022 edition, I’m the happiest seasoned gal around.” Happy Birthday, Gabrielle!
