Former Kaizer Chiefs and Amakhosi legend Siphiwe Tshabalala has just been signed up by SuperSport. He will join an Orlando Pirates legend.

Amakhosi legend Tshabalala has just been signed by SuperSport on a temporary basis. However, we are not talking about Gavin Hunt’s SuperSport United but rather the widely respected and well-known broadcasters. Siphiwe Tshabalala and Happy Jele have been signed up by SuperSport on a temporary basis – for the Soweto derby! The Amakhosi legend will join Jele as the two men bring you closer to the action. Unfortunately, neither man will be putting on their soccer boots this time.

However, both men could still do so as they are currently in similiar situations. Jele is a free agent after leaving Pirates while ‘Shabba’ has not officially retired from the beautiful game either. Furthermore, these are the two perfect players to preview and break down all the action of the Soweto derby. They clashed several times on the pitch with Shabba trying to find space in behind Jele for his strikers. However, the Bucs legend put in some big challenges on Tshabalala too. Now, they will be side-by-side on the side of the pitch representing their former sides. The massive Soweto derby is getting more and more juicy by the minute – as it does every time they clash. Kaizer Chiefs take on Orlando Pirates at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, 29 October 2022.
