Instagram influencer Nadia Cartagena has explained the motivation behind hosting a strip show for the elderly at an old-age home in Colombia.

According to the Daily Mail, things went horribly wrong when one of the grannies eho was grinding against male strippers suffered a heart attack and had to be rushed to the hospital. Cartegena shared the wild video on her Instagram last week and it instantly went viral. However, she later deleted it. The video starts with a woman in a leather thong and boots twerking up against some of the men at the retirement home called Una Mano Amiga Foundation in El Prado, Cartagena.

Other parts of the bizarre video show gigolos dancing with the elderly women at the home as others serve them food. While everyone was having a good time as one granny in a blue dress was grinding up against a half-naked stripper, things turn south as she starts grabbing her chest and falls to the floor. The stripper quickly tries to help her up and gives her a sip of water to drink before the EMS crew arrives and carries her away on a stretcher.

Sharing the video, with a Spanish caption, the influencer wrote: “Today, I held an erotic party for older adults, and I got the biggest scare of my life because I did not expect what happened to happen, and the truth is that I am very sorry, I just wanted to give them some fun and I did not expect that situation, so I want you to comment on the situation.” Speaking to Spanish publication El Universal, Cartagena said that she wanted to raise awareness about the “poverty and abandonment” elderly adults are facing. “The purpose of the video is to call for this problem to be seen and to call on the district authorities to keep an eye on these people,” Cartagena said.

She added that they asked for permission and “nothing was done against anyone’s will”. “And at no time was the purposed of  the video to annoy, abuse or take advantage of the grandparents — in fact, we made a donation to them after the event.”
