TikToker Khaby Lame reveals he makes R13 million per clip

Khaby Lame is reportedly the highest earning TikToker with R13 million per clip and has about 149 million followers on Tik Tok.

The nypost reports that the Senegalese-born TikToker Khaby Lame from Italy, who rose to fame through his Tik Tok account has 149 million followers today and he can make about R13 million per video. The publication adds that Lame told Fortune in an interview that in addition to the millions of likes he earns per video, he also racks up cash. He can make up to $750,000 per clip, which has him on track to make a whopping $10 million in 2022. Most of his income comes from brand deals in the form of online content. On average, it’s estimated he makes around $400,000 per TikTok clip he creates for any given brand.

 

“Most influencers get to a certain point in their career where they’ve endorsed and supported a number of brands and have a flat fee for these structures, but they start to want a bit more incentive or upside from those relationships,” Raina Penchansky, CEO and founder of influencer management company Digital Brand Architects, told Fortune. “That’s when we start to more meaningfully discuss ways for them to get into deeper relationships with companies or around companies they want to start.”

 

The 22-year-old TikToker’s mostly wordless videos, captivate viewers with humour conveyed through his comedic body language and online bits. The TikToker’S account has set him up for a multimillion-dollar salary in 2022, according to the publication. The Italy-based TikToker surpassed Charli D’Amelio in June as the most-followed content creator at just 22 years old. His competitor Charli D’Amelio joined TikTok back in 2019, and she blew up from less than a million followers in August 2019 to 50 million followers in April 2020…to 123.6 million in September 2021, and is currently sitting pretty at 144.5 million followers, according to Cosmopolitan. Celebrity Net Worth reports that Charli charges $100,000 (R1.7 million) per sponsored post.
