Jeffery Lamar Williams a.k.a Young Thug has found himself in more legal trouble as he’s currently being sued by concert promoter A-1 Concert Entertainment who paid the rapper an advancement of $150,000 to perform at the State Farm Arena on June 18 in Atlanta, but wasn’t able to perform due to his recent arrest according to HipHopDX. The court documents obtained by the publication state “due to his arrest and the nature of the felony criminal charges against Williams, it was immediately apparent in May 2022 that he would not be able to perform as required in the agreement.” “To date, A-1 Concert has not received any reimbursement of the $150,000 owed to it.”

The concert was organized in January with Thug to perform a 45-minute set and would receive $300,000 for the appearance with half being paid upfront and the rest received after his performance. A representative for YSL Touring says a refund will be issued. BET.com reported Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has claimed a witness and their children have been threatened by gang sympathizers in the recently turned 31-year-old’s case. A document and part of a cooperating witness’ statement was reportedly posted on social media. Willis’ office is now investigating the leak. “Whomever is placing items of discovery online is not doing anybody a favor,” said Thugger’s attorney Brian Steele. “It is totally inappropriate to try this case in social media. This case will be tried fairly and justly in Fulton County Superior Court.”
