Allegedly, the Grade 10 pupil was gang-raped by adults at an initiation school. Police confirmed on Wednesday that a case has now been opened. The victim claims that six men were behind the harrowing attack. Two names have been provided to law enforcement officials. Meanwhile, Children’s rights activist Petros Majola is following the case closely. According to him, it has been revealed that one of the accused is a RELATIVE of the Grade 10 pupil.

The incident allegedly took place over a month ago, in mid-June. The teen was left in such a bad way, he needed to seek hospital treatment for his injuries. “I am shocked to learn he ended up in a hospital bed as a result of being gang raped. He has sustained very serious injuries. There are two people he has mentioned already. The painful part is that one culprit is his relative. “I would like to appeal to all men in the province. Please, take a moment and think deep when it comes to these acts of crime.” Petros Majola, A report carried by the Daily Dispatch contends that a death threat was made against the victim, should he tell anyone about the incident. After his family noticed strange behaviours upon his return from the initiation school, he relayed the gruesome details of his suffering in full. The Grade 10 pupil is still receiving both medical and psychological treatment.
