Charges have been dropped for Snoop Dogg as the “Jane Doe” who filed for sexual assault has withdrawn her suit, according to USA Today. BET.com previously reported the accuser had accused the rapper and his affiliate Bishop “Magic” Don Juan of sexual assault after receiving a ride from them after leaving Snoop’s show in Anaheim, California back in 2013. The accuser shared that she fell asleep in the car, and instead of waking up to a view of her residence, it was Don Juan’s.

Lawyers for the accuser filed a notice of dismissal to California's Central District court Wednesday. The plaintiff asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit, which was filed in February, "in its entirety." On Thursday (Apr. 7th), U.S. district judge George H. Wu ordered the dismissal as requested. "It is not surprising that the plaintiff dismissed her complaint against the defendants.

Her complaint was full of false allegations and deficiencies," a spokesperson for Snoop Dogg said in a statement to the publication. BET.com reported how the entrepreneur responded to the claims, saying they were “manufactured.” He also took to social media and voiced his opinions on the matter, saying it was “gold digger season,” referring to the “Jane Doe” accuser.
