According to reports, the fight started after the Zodwa refused to pay for her young lover’s Uber ride. According to Briefly News, the couple allegedly got into an argument on Wednesday 23 February after Ricardo aka Olefile Mpudi, came home and demanded Zodwa pay for his Uber.
The publication reports that Zodwa gave Ricardo money to spend at Monte Casino in Fourways and he spent it all on alcohol without thinking how he would get home. Once he got there, he demanded Zodwa pay the Uber driver but she refused. Ricardo then allegedly became angry resulting in Zodwa calling the police to come and subdue the situation.
