HAPPY dancing days are back again after the RedSquare Dance Competition paused in the previous year due to a worldwide outbreak of Covid 19. Azo Shisa amateki and stages will be set alight with passion. An open challenge is out for performers with a talent to boogie to come sweat it out for a share of R180 000 in cash. Groups and solo dancers that believe they are nifty in S’bhujwa (Beng/Vosho), S’pantsula and hiphop are called to enter the RedSquare Dance competition.

Female groups will compete separately. “The year 2022 would have been a Hola 7 years celebration for the RedSquare Dance Competition, but then Covid 19 happened. As a responsible brand, we had to play our part in saving lives. There is excitement from a brand perspective that we have an opportunity to pick up where we left off. We are ready to welcome dance participants out to make the 2022 leg of the competition even more exciting. Those will be hot and sexy dancers with the swag and dripping with the hunger to achieve,” says Edward Makhayne, RedSquare Sales manager. RedSquare Dance Competition entries open on 13 February and close on the 28th. Auditions will be rolled out in Soweto, Ekurhuleni, Emfuleni, Tshwane, Polokwane, Durban and Bloemfontein.

A winning crew in each category stand a chance to take home R40 000 with solo dancers competing for R10 000 in cash. An overall winner of the competition stands to pocket an extra R10 000 after securing majority thumbs up from the audience at the Dance Competition grand finale. Entry information and audition outlets are available on https://redsquaredance.co.za. Finalists will battle it out at a grand finale scheduled for 30 April.
