In an extended trailer that debuted on Monday (Jan. 3), Jackson speaks on how she felt about the molestation accusations surrounding her late brother Michael Jackson. Viewers can hear Janet being asked if she thinks Michael’s accusations had any impact on her career. “Guilty by association, ’cause that’s what they call it, right?” she responds.

The King of  Pop was accused on several occasions of child molestation first in 1993 by Evan Chandler and his 13-year-old son Jordan. Michael settled out of court in 1994. In 2003, he was arrested for child molestation and intoxication of a minor, of which he was acquitted of all charges in 2005. Jackson’s brother Randy and her older sister Rebbie will also have feature interviews in the JANET JACKSON documentary. Other interviews in the two-night special include Missy Elliott, Q-Tip, and Jackson’s former boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. There will also be special appearances by singer Janelle Monae, actor Samuel L. Jackson, and others. Night one of JANET JACKSON premieres on Jan. 28 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Lifetime and AE, followed by Part Two on Jan. 29 at 8:00 p.m ET.
