Henrico Barnard has landed himself in a world of trouble, after he uploaded multiple videos of his unhinged racist rampage to TikTok.

Infuriated by events that had transpired in Muldersdrift this week, the social media menace dropped the K-word SEVENTEEN times – and he didn’t stop there. In the two videos that have since been deleted, Henrico Barnard failed to contain his visceral hatred.

He stated that he wanted to go and kill black South Africans with his car, saying that they deserved ‘the Hitler treatment’. Barnard was riled by the shooting of Len Cloete, after a SAPS officer fired a bullet into his head earlier this week. However, his views transcended the boundaries of acceptable fury, and dived headfirst into the murky waters of outright racism. Henrico Barnard also threatened to burn down a police station, while vowing to ‘shoot a SAPS officer’ if he got the chance. The utterances in these TikTok videos are highly disturbing, and make for a very tough watch.

One South African Twitter user immediately decided that Henrico Barnard had gone way too far – and has submitted a complaint with the SA Human Rights Commission. It’s understood the organisation is now reviewing the footage. Racist outbursts such as these – particularly ones which feature the use of the K-word – are punishable by law, and can lead to lengthy jail sentences. In a bid to save his skin, Henrico Barnard did issue an apology in his last video shared on TikTok. But getting his fellow citizens – and indeed, the judiciary of South Africa – to forgive him will prove to be an extremely tall order. “I’d like to apologise for the videos that I posted, they were cruel and I really am sorry. I hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. I will now be going off social media, and to everyone who has supported me, I thank you so much.”
