All Caltex-branded service stations in South Africa and Botswana will be rebranded to Astron Energy.

The name change comes after Glencore South Africa Oil Investments bought the former Chevron South Africa. Astron Energy is South Africa's second-largest petroleum network with over 850 Caltex-branded service stations in South Africa and Botswana. The existing network of service stations will be rebranded in a phased manner over the next few years. Customers who have U-Count rewards cards don't have to worry about losing their points.
