The National Lottery will be closed during the 21 days lockdown and during that period, unfortunately, you won't be able to claim your winnings over R50,000 if you win the lotto at any regional offices or head office. Any winnings below R50,000 will be deposited into your online wallet.

But if you do win the lotto there's no need to panic as your ticket has a lifespan of 365 days before you lose your winnings. Just keep your ticket safe until the lockdown is over then you can go claim. Powerball, Lotto and Daily Lotto will continue as usual and Sportstake draws have been suspended due to lack of fixtures until further notice, read more at https://www.nationallottery.co.za/blogs/132-covid-19-frequently-asked-questions.
