President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation at 8pm on Sunday 11 July 2021 about the latest measures to curb the third wave of Covid-19 infections.

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to announce whether or not he will extend the adjusted alert Level 4 lockdown regulations that have been in place for the past 14 days. The National Coronavirus Command Council (NCCC) met earlier on Sunday to assess the current lockdown restrictions and national Covid-19 response. The NCCC was followed by meetings of the President’s Coordinating Council and Cabinet.
