Drake says he did not want Rihanna to feel 'disrespected' when he collaborated with Chris Brown: 'She's a good person with a good heart'

Drake may 'got a lot of enemies,' but Chris Brown is no longer one of them. The rapper sat down with the hosts of Rap Radar at his home in Toronto, Canada where he took a moment to discuss the tension surrounding his recent musical collaborations with Chris Brown - and how this has affected his relationship with Rihanna.

The 33-year-old wanted to emphasize that he never wanted to 'disrespect' the Umbrella singer by forming a working relationship with Brown.

The rapper got raw and real during his interview with Rap Radar as he revealed that early attempts to make music with Chris Brown were thwarted by 'resentment on both sides.' Drake explained that when given the chance to 'step away' from the drama and 'break it down' he started to feel silly about having beef with Brown over 'girl stuff.' The 'girl stuff' in question happened to be Drake and Brown's drama surrounding mutual ex and fellow musician, Rihanna.

In 2009, Brown was arrested for abusing the Barbadian songstress and was sentenced to community service and required to attend domestic violence counselling, according to The Guardian.
