The writing, voice-over gigging, handling of panel discussions, and workshop facilitation work have been the hallmark of his journey in the communication and creative world.
His print media journey stretches back to his role as a newspaper editor for arts, entertainment, culture and lifestyle for the Sunday World and The New Age.
From 2017 to early 2019, he was a socio-political columnist for the Sunday Sun newspaper.
In 1997, his media career kicked off at Can-I FM - a community radio station in Hydepark. There, Mahlangu wrote, edited and read news, produced programs and hosted a music show.
He rose to the position of program and music manager at Can-I FM.
