According to a report from Road and Track, the US Marshals have initiated an auction for dozens of vehicles linked to a YouTuber who was imprisoned for illegally reselling cable TV content.

The collection of 57 vehicles comprises 32 cars, as well as motorcycles and ATVs, previously owned by YouTuber Bill Omar Carrasquillo, known as Omi in a Hellcat. Earlier this year, Carrasquillo was incarcerated following a conviction for offenses including cable TV piracy, access device fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, and substantial copyright infringement. Authorities determined that the proceeds from his pirate cable TV streaming venture were utilized to purchase the vehicles, which he proudly showcased on his YouTube channel, amassing an impressive subscriber count of 818,000 over several years. His channel and content remain accessible online.

Among the auction's highlights are valuable models such as a Lamborghini Aventador wrapped in Power Rangers design, two Lamborghini Huracans, a Lamborghini Urus, Audi R8 V10, Acura NSX, and a 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS. Additionally, five Stellantis vehicles featuring various versions of the Hellcat engine are up for auction.

Bidding for the auction is currently ongoing, with the live auction scheduled for Friday, October 13, 2023. As of the latest update, the Lamborghini Aventador has garnered the highest number of bids — 51 in total — with the highest bid standing at $380,000 (approximately R7.3 million). It's worth noting that the Aventador holds significance as the final naturally-aspirated V12 car from Lamborghini before the transition to hybrid-exclusive manufacturing. Included below are screenshots displaying the top eight cars with the highest bids at the time of this report.
