According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, Stevie J has not only asked for spousal support from Evans but wants to be absolved from making continuous monthly payments to his estranged wife. In the filing, the former Love Hip Hop: Atlanta star checked the box that says “spousal or domestic partner support payable,” and another box that requests to “terminate the court’s ability to award support to [Evans].” The former Bad Boy RB singer-songwriter also wants her to pay his legal fees, the document notes.

On July 17, 2018, the couple wed in Las Vegas but separated on Oct. 19, 2021, citing “irreconcilable differences.” On Nov. 15, Evans posted an Instagram video of doing cartwheels on the beach with Stevie J. Although it’s not clear when the video was taken, she included the caption, “Get us free, bruh!” It’s unclear the full context of the video. Late last month Stevie apologized to Evans after a video surfaced of him “publicly humiliating his wife.” “I’d like to apologize and say sorry that I even allowed someone to come into my home and steal a computer and be able to do that to us,” he said in a now-deleted Instagram video. “You’re an amazing person.
