People aren't always themselves when they date online which can lead to fake connections that don’t pan out. It seems that some pretend to be something they aren't to make a potential match happy. Megan Thee Stallion and Tinder don’t want this to happen, and that’s at the center of the new #PYOTChallenge. #PYOT stands for Put Yourself Out There, and here’s how it works: to participate, users of the Tinder community have to share a bio that is an accurate representation of who they really are. For those that showcase their vulnerability and authenticity the most, they’ll be entered for a chance to win $10,000.
There is a total of $1 million earmarked for this campaign, which means that 100 people will win — so there will be many expensive dates in the future. Megan is set to be the “Hot Girl Coach,” giving users confidence-boosting tips so that they can be honest about who they are. "I want everyone to be comfortable sharing their authentic self online,” the rapper said in a press release. “By celebrating those who are already doing the hard work, we want to encourage more people to feel confident in who they are.”
