Now that Chance the Rapper and the legendary Dionne Warwick have bonded on Twitter, they are taking their newfound friendship offline and into a collaboration.

Dionne Warwick's son Damon Elliott, who is a record producer and her manager, said in a press release, "They had such an amazing conversation that led to them discussing the Hunger Not Impossible initiative — they'll receive portions of proceeds from her upcoming 80th birthday/holiday celebration which will be streamed live on Saturday, Dec. 12 at 7 pm EST.” He also added, “The result of our conversation with Chance is this new single we'll be recording soon and we're all looking forward to this collaboration." Ms. Warwick stated, "We're trying to make this something that will permeate the entire Earth, so that there are no more hungry people everywhere or anywhere.”

n case you missed it, on Dec. 5, Warwick found herself trending on after asking Chance The Rapper a straightforward question. "Hi, @chancetherapper," the Grammy-award winning artist tweeted. "If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this." A startled Chance responded: “Sorry I’m still freaking out that [you] know who I am. This is amazing!” Upon recovering, the award-winning rapper answered the veteran singer’s question. “I will be whatever you wanna call me Ms Warwick. God bless you,” he tweeted with two blue heart emojis. That exchange is what led to the upcoming collaboration, which is clearly going to be epic.
