CBS 46 reports that, on Dec. 1, officers responded to a call of shots fired at the Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel where a 24-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was transferred to Grady Memorial Hospital and was last listed in critical condition. Ann Marie, who was at the scene, is said to have told officers that “a gun fell off of a table in the hotel room which caused the gun to go off hitting the victim.”
According to CBS, the police report states that Marie was screaming and removed from the hotel room. She kept asking officers about the victim’s condition and told them that they grew up together. HipHopDX reports that Marie and the victim were romantically involved. Marie is currently being held at Fulton County Jail for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
