Drake announces upcoming album titled 'Skeleton King'

Drake has announced that his upcoming album Skeleton King will be released towards the end of August. The 12-track project is based on nearly 20 demos that the rapper wrote during his acting career days.

According to reports, the lead single to the album features singer Bruno Mars. The song titled Humanist will drop in a few days along with its music video. The four-time Grammy winner took to his Instagram story a few days ago to reveal that the album was 80% complete. His favourite collaborator and producer, Boi 1nda, later tweeted that the album has reached 90% completion.

 

According to meaww.com, Pop Crave - a Twitter news account that prides itself on being the first to share celebrity updates - recently shared that Drake's lead single will drop on 14 August. "According to reliable sources from ATRL, @Drake lead single featuring @BrunoMars, 'HUMANIST' will be released on August 14th along with the music video. This will serve as the lead single for his upcoming album 'Skeleton King'." Pop Crave, @PopCraxe on Twitter, also recently shared that the album will be released on 28 August.

 

Another Twitter account, @Nevernyny, shared that Drake will feature the likes of Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Lil Wayne, among others. Khaled dropped the two lit singles at midnight. These new joints are the first songs from the hip-hop DJ's 12th studio album due out later this year. The title of the new album is Khaled Khaled. Drake and Khaled have collaborated on a number of joints before. The hip-hop stars worked on the hit track titled I'm On One back in 2011. It peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011.

 

Khaled took to Instagram to thank Drake for blessing his songs with the vocals and rap verses. He wrote: "The 2 keys. The 2 anthems. Out now everywhere! Thank you Drake! Love forever!" The star also reminded his followers that his much-anticipated album was on the way.
