Part of the M1 South bridge at the Booysens off-ramp in Johannesburg collapsed on Wednesday.
The Johannesburg Road Agency will assess the extent of the damage. “Motorists and residents can rest assured that all measures have been taken to ensure safety for those who use that stretch of road,” the Johannesburg Metro Police Department said in a statement.
However, it doesn't seem to have impacted traffic.
