South African COVID-19 cases reach 900

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced South Africa has over 900 confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Thursday.

When presenting a summary of the African Union and G20 teleconferences the president said there are more than 900 confirmed cases of the virus.

 

The president also encouraged the public to observe two-minutes of prayer or silent meditation. Ramaphosa says the prayer should be held between 18:00 and 18:30 on Thursday.
