Minister Nathi Mthethwa described Mashechaba Ndlovu as a pan-African brand and a seasoned media practitioner, who has played a significant role in the arts fraternity.
Minister Nathi Mthethwa said: "She continues to possess a passion for people and she has constantly been at the forefront of advocating for truth and justice. My newly appointed spokesperson is a dynamic trailblazer, who has made an immense contribution to the African media landscape and is one of the most influential women on the continent. The department looks forward to working with an eminent and diligent leader." Masechaba replied and said: " It is an honour and a privilege. I am ready to serve indeed."
